Frame clinic - Powder coating

Powder coating - the impact-resistant and durable surface for your aluminum or steel frame and rigid fork.

Our special know-how in giving powder-coated surfaces the perfection and grace of a wet paint finish is appreciated by numerous metal processors, exhibition stand builders, architects, mechanical engineers and craftsmen. We coat in all RAL and metallic colours, on request even in individual colours, of course in all gloss levels and surface structures.

Furthermore, we are specialists in the renovation of "metal" industrial products - here we use all our knowledge and skills to restore the shine and grace of collectors' items. First of all, the old varnish is removed expertly and gently. Then we apply a single or multi-layer powder coating. If desired, we can even apply a digitally plotted decoration under a clear varnish.

We powder-coat the following components:

1) Completely disassembled parts made of steel, iron or aluminum.

2) All connections must be welded.

In the configurator you can select your frame clinic order already finished with the color selection, clear powder in glossy or matt and, if desired, create a lettering. Please send this to us in advance by e-mail. You will then receive an order confirmation from us by e-mail. Please print this out and put it in the shipment as an accompanying document so that we can allocate your shipment. Payment must be made in advance or on collection before the item is returned.

Please note before placing your order for frame clinic powder coating:

Please only send us completely disassembled frames and parts made of steel or aluminum. Please disassemble full-suspension frames completely, without bearings or bushings. All connections must be welded.

We do not coat this for technical reasons:

No heavily corroded parts - these are not sufficiently static and are no longer stable. No carbon frames or carbon forks.

No glued frames.

No glued aluminum forks - which are usually installed.

No suspension forks.

Assembled or glued components, add-on parts such as bearings, bushings or rubber or plastic connections.

Please observe the frame manufacturer's warranty conditions if they are still valid.

Due to the high temperatures (up to 200 C°) in powder coating technology, the following components must not be processed under any circumstances, because the epoxy resin processed there can withstand a maximum of 100 C°, liquefies and loses its strength when it cools down again.

If you do not want specific areas to be powder-coated or blasted, you must document these precisely in a masking plan. In the form of a drawing or a picture on which the areas are marked. Even stripped or raw frames are always pre-treated or blasted again by us to ensure optimum adhesion. For this reason, we do not offer any discounts on frames that have already been stripped of paint and our General Terms and Conditions apply MAXX does not accept any warranty for hidden defects or previous damage to the workpieces.
