Shimano EP801 Engine
The new Shimano EP801 motor takes e-bike riding to an even higher level. This new Shimano unit maximizes motor power with a rider output of just 100 watts. Additionally, the motor features more precise sensors that skillfully compensate for cadence fluctuations. From a cadence of 70 revolutions per minute, the motor delivers full power, which is maintained even at over 100 revolutions per minute. The motor also supports CAN-Bus and ACC communication, such as Di2 or other compatible shifting systems, as well as communication with Generation 2 batteries (not compatible with Generation 1). The motor's high-quality sensors enable even leisurely riders with a power output of 100 watts to utilize it optimally. This is due to the impressive maximum boost of 410%, which provides more speed on climbs and unique acceleration at high cadences, allowing for optimal acceleration out of corners.

All-in-one package: color display including Bluetooth, ANT+, light ON/OFF switch, walk assist, support levels, and various support modes can be individually adjusted via Shimano Ride to suit your needs.

700 Wh standard, 800 Wh Upgrade
With the new 700 Wh or optional 800 Wh battery, you can embark on long and hilly tours, having the energy for any adventure. Securely integrated into the downtube, the battery remains safe even in challenging terrain. The easily removable battery can be charged either on the bike or directly. For car transport, theft prevention, easier handling, or occasional riding without assistance, the battery can also be permanently removed. The downtube can still be sealed with the new high-quality aluminum cover.
